Your congregation is embarking on a significant investment in its future. This is the time to do things right! Kairos will always hold your best interest upper most as we determine your "readiness factor" to move forward with an expanded mission, ministry and/or facility plan. Kairos utilizes six steps to secure the data necessary to develop our comprehensive "Report of Recommendations".

1. An Internal Audit

Kairos takes a close look at internal factors that influence a major expansion program. These factors include, but are not limited to, strength of your case, your statistical membership and financial trends over the past five years, your leadership strength and commitment, adequacy of work force / equipment / office space/ etc. to handle the complexities of an expansion program of this size.

2. The Case for Success

Following the Internal Audit, Kairos will write a prospectus that succinctly states your case as well as write a comprehensive questionnaire. An appointed Feasibility Study Team will have final approval on all these documents before they are utilized.

3. An External Audit

Utilizing the prospectus, Kairos will interface with community leaders, civic groups and private foundations to determine the relativity of your case and potential for support.

4. Personal Interviews

There are people in your church and in the community that you simply must have on board if an expansion plan/project is to be achieved. To be successful, a plan/project must have strong, dedicated leaders and people who will give those large, up front gifts. These are the people we will personally interview in relationship to the prospectus.

5. A Questionnaire to the Congregation and Community Core

Using the basic outline followed for the interviews, we utilize the comprehensive questionnaire to connect with a larger group of people in a controlled environment. Individuals representing your congregation and surrounding community are brought together at your facility to complete the questionnaire after Kairos has facilitated an introductory orientation of the prospectus.

6. The Report of Recommendations

Reviewing the substantial amount of information gathered, Kairos will write and personally present our comprehensive Report of Recommendations. This report ranks your "readiness factor" based upon our nine readiness criteria. If viewed positively, the report will also include details on organization, goals and time line for moving forward with the plan.
